H. Geraldine "Gerry" Wood

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Geraldine on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital with her family by her side.
Born in Nictaux Falls, NS on February 20, 1924, she was the youngest daughter of Herman Parker and Hattie Selig Parker Strong. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She leaves to mourn her only son Gordon Wood, his wife Margaret, their son Sandy Wood of Fredericton, sisters in law Opal Parker, Molly Parker, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Irwin "Woody" Wood; her parents; six sisters Addie, Marjorie, Frieda, Pearl, Dorothy, Bernice; three brothers Nathaniel, Clair and Willard.  
In accordance with Gerry's wishes, there will be a private graveside service at Elmwood Cemetery.
