Alfreda "Freda" G. Cail (nee Maillet), 68 , of Riverview passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital, on Friday, March 15, 2019.

Born in Irishtown, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Marguerite (LeBlanc) Maillet.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Riverview.

Freda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and friend to all who knew her. She enjoyed many road trips with the love of her life, Peter, and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Family meant everything to Freda. She particularly adored spoiling her two grand-daughters, Marika and Tay, and they loved their Nannie.

Survived by her husband of 48 years, Peter J. Cail; daughters Alison Cail Radford (Derek) of Milton, ON and Jane Cail; grandchildren Marika and Tay Radford, sisters Margot Hebert (Aubrey) of Irishtown, Lucy MacInnis (Peter) of Riverview, and Monique Girouard (Paul) of Irishtown; brothers Charles Maillet (Jeanitta) of Irishtown, John Maillet (Gisele) of Irishtown and Maurice Maillet (Leslie) of Riverview; as well as nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to brother in law Daryl Cail (Claudette) and sister in law Sharon Baker (Dave). Sharon and Dave were like a sister and brother to Freda.

We wish to thank Dr. Pierre Whitlock and his team of the Oncology Dept and Palliative Care  at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital for their compassion and care.
