Reginald E. Warren

Reginald E. Warren

Reginald "Reg" Warren, 97, of Moncton, NB;  passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his bedside  on Thursday, January 23, 2020.  Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James T. and Elizabeth (Gillespie) Warren.

Reginald was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Muriel I. Warren, in 2014, and by his brothers Eric and Robert Warren.

Reg grew up attending St. Bernard’s Church in Moncton. He retired from Canadian National Railways after 42 years of service.  A selfless, generous gentleman of the "Greatest Generation", he will be deeply missed by his two daughters Susan E. Warren and Janet Filimenti (Claude) all of Moncton, his dear friend Wilma Olive of Bedford, NS, and by his nieces and nephews.

Honouring Reg's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a graveside service to be held at the Old Shediac Road Catholic Cemetery, Moncton, in the spring.

Donations in Reg's memory made to the NB Lung Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated.

A special thank you to the team from Extra-Mural Driscoll Unit, the Pallative Care team, and Dr. John McCrea; we will be forever grateful for your exemplary care.
