Charles Edouard Girouard
1945-2021

Charles E. Girouard, 75 , of Cocagne, NB; passed away at Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, on Thursday, February 18, 2021. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Aurele J. and Evangeline (Gauvin) Girouard.
Charlie enjoyed the simple pleasures that surrounded him. Living by the water, he loved boating and helping where ever he was needed at the Marina. He enjoyed painting or just sitting around his fire pit. He was a familiar face in his community, he was easily recognized driving his Red Jeep. Charlie always started his early morning ritual with his coffee at the marina watching the sunrise.
Charles is President/ Owner of Charles - Edouard Claims Service Inc. Cocagne, NB. He started his career in 1968 with Plant Adjustment Bureau Ltd. In 1971, he became a major shareholder and served as General Manager and Secretary Vice President until the amalgamation in 1997. Over the last 35 years, Charles has crafted his skill in the investigation and adjustment of large property losses.
His expertise brought him to the Caribbean and South Florida
for the assessment of major hurricane-related disasters.
He was a member of Canadian Assoc. of Fire Investigators,
International Assoc. of Arson Investigators, Canadian Independent
Adjusters Assoc. and Insurance Institute of Canada. Charles
also was guest lecturer at many Industry Seminar's.
A husband, father, pepére, brother and a friend to
all, he will deeply missed.
Survived by his wife of 52
years Emeline M. (Bourque); one daughter, Lise Ryan (Peter);
grandson, Thomas Ryan; son, Jacques Girouard. two sisters, Anne-Marie
Jones (Rick) and Rita Boudreau (Pierre); two
brothers; Leonard Girouard and Gerry (Betty Jean) Girouard; as well as
several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Arthur Girouard

Funeral mass will be held Wednesday,
February 24, 2021 at 3:00pm at Saint-Pierre Catholic Church Cocagne,
NB with Fr. Jean Guy Dallaire officiating.
Covid 19 Restrictions are also
in place, masks with social distancing.
