It is with heavy heart we announce the passing of Patrick
Mahoney at the Veteran's Health Care Centre on April 26, 2022, at the
age of 90.
Born in Campbellton on January 12th, 1932 he was
the son of the late John and Mabel (Boudreau) Mahoney. Patrick was a
member of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church.
Pat loved listening and singing along to classic
country music. His dry humour and quick wit made him a
wonderful story teller. He appreciated a good laugh, and
respected hard work. He had a powerful handshake
and a tender heart. Most of all, Pat loved and was very
proud of his family.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife, Carmelle
(Arseneault); daughters, Susan McLagan (David), Doreen Lachance,
Sheila Robichaud (Claude); sons, Michael Mahoney, Shawn Mahoney, Bevan
(Donna) Mahoney; grandchildren, Colleen, Melissa, Tim, Kelsie,
Christopher, Lisa, Ryan, Kathleen, Matthew, Jonathan, Sarah, David,
Jason, Luke; several great grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his
sisters, Geraldine Arseneau and Catherine Dargewitcz; brothers,
Reginald Mahoney and Harry Mahoney.
The family recognizes and greatly appreciates all
the staff of the Veteran's Health Care Centre for their kindness, care
and attention to Pat over the years. A special thank you to Dre Lise
Babin for her care and support.
