George Martin of Moncton, NB passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on Monday, March 06, 2023 at the age of 78.  Born in Halifax, NS he was a son of the late George Wilfred Sr. and Marion (MacKenzie).

 Survived by his wife and best friend, Denise (Melanson) of Moncton; sisters, Elizabeth Forrest (Dr. Ian Forrest) of Toronto, Charlotte Lysak (Fred) of Tennessee, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Edward.

 George was a man who thought that his life’s mission was to make people laugh and he was smiling until the very end. He was a very loving and caring partner and was quick to put his love into words. Family was everything to George. He adored his nieces and nephews and was so proud of each and every one’s accomplishments. Thank-you to them for making him feel so important in their lives.

 Donations in George's memory made to the CHU Dumont Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
