Louise Burns, 62, of Moncton, NB and formerly of Corner Brook, NL; passed away at The Moncton Hospital with her loving family at her side on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she is the daughter of Melica S. (Howell) Allen and the late Robert F. Allen. Louise was a simple but fun loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. To Louise, family and friends were held close. She enjoyed working in the hospitably industry from Tim Horton’s to a variety of family restaurants and also working customer service at Canadian Tire.
 
She will be forever remembered by her husband, Clarence; her son James (Shawna) Strowbridge of Dartmouth, NS; her grandchildren; Brayden and Blake; her mother, Melica S. Allen of Newfoundland; sisters, Gail Allen of Newfoundland and Beverley Taylor (Harold) of Ontario; her Mother-In-Law Edna Burns (Ma), her Brother In-Law Steven (Linda) Burns; as well as nieces and nephews.
 
Honouring Louise's wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be held at Mount Patricia Cemetery and Columbarium in Corner Brook, Newfoundland this coming summer.

The family wish to thank Dr. Charest, Dr. Ironside, the nurses and all the staff of the Oncology Dept and 4200 Wing of the Moncton Hospital, Your love, your care and compassion gave us great comfort and the feeling that you to were a part of our family.
