Clinton Shaffer of Riverside Albert and formerly of
Riverview, NB passed away at Forest Dale Home on Sunday,
April 02, 2023 at the age of 93, five days short of his 93rd birthday.
Born in Beaverbrook, NB he was the son of the late Stanley and Janey
(Steeves) Shaffer.
Clinton was a member of the
Masonic Temple, the Zetland Lodge Shediac Cape, Past Master of Howard
Lodge Hillsborough #15, member of Botsford Chapter, Luxor Shriners
Saint John, Past President and a member of Moncton Shrine Club, Past
Potentate of Luxor Shriners, Saint John Royal Order of Jesters #149,
Past DDGM of District #7, Service Member of Winston Churchill Chapter
No 19 OES having served as Worthy Patron several times, Past Worthy
Grand Patron of Grand Chapter of NB, Past General Chapter Committee
and a member of General Grand Chapter of the OES. Clinton enjoyed
visiting other chapters and travelling. Clinton retired from the T.
Eaton Co. after 30 years service as a Television
Technician.
Survived by his daughters, Brenda Haley (John Laurence) of Moncton, Lynn Wilson (Eric) of Hillsborough and Alisa Steeves (Kevin Beck) of Cape Station; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great great- grandchild; one brother, Hillyard Shaffer (Freda) of Halifax.
In addition to his parents, Clinton was predeceased by his wife, Hilda in 2016; siblings, Jean Black, Phyllis Shaffer and Emery Shaffer.
Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview, NB (506) 857-9544 where visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm with a Masonic service being held at 5:30pm and an Order of Eastern Star service at 5:45pm.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April, 6, 2023 at 1:00pm from Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Steve Berube officiating.
Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery.
