Phyllis Ellen Cunningham (nee Irvine), 66, of Petitcodiac, died at The Moncton Hospital Thursday, April 27, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer for more than a year. Born in Exeter, Ont. on Nov. 12, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Jackie Irvine of Flatlands, N.B. where she grew up. Phyllis worked numerous interesting jobs and was skilled at various crafts.

Left to mourn are her husband Norbert Cunningham of Petitcodiac, her cherished sister Dale Hogan (Ron) of Campbellton, Nephew Ryan Irving of Edmonton, AB; her uncle Rollie Anderson of Toronto, by several cousins, and by her special friends Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Arlie and Allan Irvine of Flatlands.

She will be cremated and buried in the family plot with her parents and brothers at the Flatlands Community Cemetery at a later date.

There will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations to The Dr. Sheldon H. Rubin Oncology Clinic at The Moncton Hospital or the The Medical Oncology Clinic at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre of the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton, or to the Flatlands Community Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
