The wife of the late Edward "Ted" Raymond Gilmore, Riverview, NB passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 5, 2023, just days shy of her 101st birthday.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Belzémé (LeBlanc) Leger.
She is survived by her nephews, Roger Arsenault (Aurore), Paul Arsenault (Josette), Robert Arsenault (Patricia), Gérard Arsenault (Barb); nieces, Anita Gaudet (Paul), Lorraine LeBlanc (Donald), Thérèse Gould (Tommy), Yvette Doiron (Jean-Guy), Germaine De Niverville (Bill) and Patsy Ford (John).
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 72 years Edward "Ted" Gilmore; only child Ronald "Ronnie" Gilmore at the age of 26 years; sisters, Lina Leger, Laura Arsenault (late Louis) and Francois Arsenault (late Pierre).
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers and Riverview Funeral home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 11:00am until 12:50pm.
The Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart Mary Roman Catholic Church, 5 Fatima Dr. Riverview, on Wednesday at 1:00pm.
Interment will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
Donations in memory of Sarah can be made to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
